Would you describe a box as whimsical? A canvas tote as bold? Well, if you were Collins of Texas designer Enid Collins, the simple, practical structure of a handcrafted wooden box or canvas bucket tote were just waiting for bejeweled scenes both familiar and fanciful. While we may see a plain canvas bag or wooden box and find it practical and uninspiring, Enid Collins saw perfect mediums for her artistry to truly come alive. Collins’ designs featured colorful carriages, proud peacocks, lavish ladybugs and more.

Get inspired by an array of handbags from designer Enid Collins and perhaps you will see the possibilities that await just outside the box!

ESSE Museum & Store is located at 1510 Main St. in the SoMa District of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Tickets for the Museum are $10 for general admission, $8 for students, seniors and military.
