YOU are Fur-Real invited!

Val and the SMC crew are excited to celebrate our 10th (yes, TENTH) Birthday during SoMa After Dark on Friday September 5 from 5-8 p.m.!!! We would love for you to trot your toe-beans down and join us for cake and lemonade, bubbly and happy times, including a drawing for gift certificates and creative swag bags!

We’re also hosting a purrfect l’il fundraiser for our friends at F.U.R.R., a wonderful feline rescue non-profit here in Little Rock. The a-meow-zing volunteers with F.U.R.R. vigilantly care for numerous feral cat colonies in Little Rock and offer assistance throughout the state. Val and her husband, Steve, worked hand-in-hand with F.U.R.R. in the trapping and spay/neuter of a dozen feral (not quite so feral now) cats in their Pettaway neighborhood. It is so gratifying to see these fur-babies happy and healthy instead of stressed to the max with litter after litter of homeless kittens. We won’t be making biscuits, but whether you’re a total ailurophile or not, we’ll have a couple of fun crafts you can create in exchange for a small donation to the kitty-kat rescue clawse! Prepare for a case of the zoomies!
