Stained Glass Collage with Katelyn

  • South Main Creative (map)

Learn how to cut, grind, foil, and solder glass pieces to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind hanging sculpture. Students will choose from a selection of beautiful scrap glass pieces and use the “Tiffany” method of foiling each piece to be assembled and connected in an unconventional way using soldering irons. This class is intended for beginners who would like to dip their toes into the world of stained glass and learn how to solder, but don’t know where to start, or aren’t quite ready to commit the time and expense for a 6-hour workshop. Learning these skills will open a world of possibilities for connecting a wide range of materials to make future projects come to life!

Materials/supplies fee covers: stained glass, solder, flux, copper foil, nitrile gloves, hanging materials, cleaning materials.

Age 18+, please.

Class fee is $80. A materials fee of $20 will be due to teacher at time of class.
